Frequently Asked Questions

When do you open?

Our parking lot opens at 6:00 PM, and our on-site ticket booth opens at dusk (around 6:30 PM). Our hayride is best experienced in the dark of night, and our attractions begin once it’s dark enough to scare you. While waiting for the attractions to begin, we have a concession stand selling hot food and treats, picnic tables to sit at, and a photo area.

What time do you close?

- Ticket sales end at 10:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and at 9:30 PM on Sundays.
- Attractions remain open until all guests who have joined the queue have had the chance to experience them.

How long is the hayride?

The Hayride of Horrors is a 45-minute ride through our haunted woods, featuring scenes with actors and animatronics. Midway through, we stop for our special cyanide cider and decomposed doughnuts!

What ages is this appropriate for?

Our event is intended to be fun for the whole family. Parents should keep in mind that, while everything you see and experience is performed by actors and is completely safe, we do our best to play into your fears. Some children who are comfortable watching scary movies may become very afraid when seeing our actors and scare scenes in person.

Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult during the attractions.

How many people fit on a hayride?

30-35 people.

Do I need a reservation?

You can purchase tickets in person at our ticket booth for any event day—no reservation required.

If you buy tickets online, we guarantee that you will have enough time to experience all attractions as long as you arrive by 9:30 PM.

Do you accept credit cards?

You can use any major credit card to purchase tickets online through our PurplePass checkout. You do not need a PurplePass account to purchase. In-person ticket sales and refreshments are cash-only for the 2024 haunting season.

Do you have clowns?

Yes, yes, yes! We have all kinds of ghouls ;)

Do you use strobe lights?

Yes, strobe light effects are used during the hayride and corn maze attractions. Please proceed with caution if you have a condition that may be affected by strobe lights.

Do you use fog machines?

Yes, fog machines are used in both the corn maze and during the hayride.

What happens if someone from our group needs to leave the attraction early?

There are exits available to patrons who are in the corn maze and need to make a hasty retreat. Please tell an attendant if you need to exit.

If you need to exit the hayride for any reason, please notify the wagon driver.

We are not able to provide refunds to any guests who are unable to complete their visit.

Do you have group discounts?

We offer three primary discounts:
1. Children aged five and under enter for free.
2. Active military members can enjoy any attraction for $10.
3. Combo ticket discounts are available for those purchasing tickets to both of our attractions.

We also provide group rates for schools and established organizations with parties of more than 10 people. For more information on setting up special pricing, please see our group reservation section.

How long will I be there to do both attractions?

Completing both attractions can take about 90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the evening and the pace you take through our corn maze.

Is there anything to do while we wait?

We have a refreshments stand in the parking area next to the ticket booth. Refreshment sales are cash-only.

If you're attending both the hayride and corn maze, you may enjoy the maze's choose-your-own-adventure experience while waiting for the hayride.

What type of shoes should I wear?

Since both activities at the Hayride of Horrors are outdoors, we encourage you to dress accordingly and wear sensible shoes. Sneakers or boots are perfect. Do not wear flip-flops or high heels—you’ll never escape our monsters that way!
